A new start.

It’s been almost 5 months since I had a job. And last week I got the call. I now work as a Support Worker for older people, helping them around the home or just giving companionship. It’s not a full time job I only do it three days a week so I can study for my Library and Information Service Course. I feel so much better about life right now, like I could take on the world and win.

Tomorrow I need to go to the doctor, have had headaches each day for just over a week now and I don’t think I’m over that cold I contracted from my boyfriend when he had his tri-monthly bout of tonsilitis. I swear some day I should just take the knife to them myself and put him and me out of our misery.

So all in all things are looking up and moving forward, I can finally gain back some of my independance and stop worrying up a storm over how much Nick is spending of his money on me. To celebrate I finally got my butt into gear and got the tech wiz to put up this blog for me. Still fiddling around with the settings and things. I think ultimately I’m going to have to change the theme I am using at the moment as a lot of it still points towards the original creator’s site instead of at things I like to do/be. At some point hopefully soon I will also start designing the front page of DementedKitty.net (DK for short) so that I can start showing my artwork online as a portfolio. Trust me it needs a lot of work.
