Freak me out?!

I paid a visit to the doctor today, had a very interesting time of it too. Firstly I arrived at 9.30 to the local bulk billed medical centre and the girl told me there were only 4 people in front. Now knowing how long 4 people usually took I popped over to Borders briefly to see if there were any new books to tickle my fancy. Nada. Trooped back to the medical centre and sat down to wait for my name to be called. An hour later I was completely fed up with waiting and went back over to the girl who had originally served me.

She’d never put me in the queue.

After assuring me I would be served next, which I was, I was invited in to see one of the doctors. Explaining how I still had the sniffles and a bit of a chest infection I also explained about the headaches I’d been having since last wednesday and the gastro problems I’ve been having for months. She didn’t offer anything in the way of relief for the still recovering cold or advice for the headaches but instead gave me two references for tests to be done. One of them is for a urea breath test which checks to see if you have a particular bacteria inside your gastric path the other is an ultrasound check for an ovarian cyst. Neither of these choices sound fun to me but if it figures out why I keep getting extreme gastro I suppose it’s worth it. Of the two I’m more hoping for ovarian cyst of the non cancerous variety which has damaged my eggs beyond all repair on both sides.

I do not want kids.

In other news I am trying to create my own skin for the hemingway theme (the original base for the theme I am now using.) So far not doing too well as it involves coding which I am not farmiliar with instead of just basic skinning. Guess I’ll have to recruit Nick on this one.
