Trinity
Well I had some great news on friday night. Family called me and were all on the phone, parents are separating. *sighs* Now me and my younger sister have been seeing this coming for a while now but once we moved out of home to attend uni it was no longer part of our everyday life. The next youngest wasn’t really all that shocked as she has been getting “vibes” around the home that something wasn’t right. We’re all quite shocked never the less. I don’t really know what to do except to comfort my sisters and let my parents get on with whatever it is they need to do. Dad doesn’t want to disappear from our lives (like we’d let him) and does want to keep supporting us. He’s like that quiet and not really fussed about much. Mum is much more pedantic and she didn’t really have any inkling it was coming for that long either.
Yesterday while my boyfriend and our housemate were coming back from picking up some lunch he was in an accident. Braked down the hill like he does and put his indicator on, the person behind him didn’t seem to notice at all and slammed into the back of the car as he was turning the corner damaging it badly. Needless to say the bf is very pissed off the car is his baby, he’s spent a lot of money on it over the years far more than the street value. It still works but looks shocking, both have insurance and so far it looks like it’s going to be covered by the other guy’s insurance. We’re really hoping that it’s not a total write off because if it is he might be forced to get a car loan in order to get a working vehicle. We’re sorta joking around about how both bad anf good luck comes in threes. I got into my course, I got a job and well we can’t figure the third one out, then parents separate and car gets smashed. I’m seriously thinking the next bad thing might be a death in the family.
On a lighter note I went tot he art shop on saturday and picked up some acrylic paints, brushes and a bristol board. I have already put down the design I want though I am thinking it needs to be tweaked before painting it. It’s an Eye of Ra/Fish illusion. Kinda like those vases/faces in silouette that mind boggle your brain. Background is to be first and I’m very much liking a turquoise water like background. I just need to figure out the right percentages of base colours to get the blend right.
