No news is good news.
Not much going on at the moment. I do have to figure out what is going on Wednesday though as I have an all day training course for work and also have my roster to look after on Wednesday. I shall have to call them in the morning and see if there is anyway for this to be resolved without leaving the clients out in the dark or me with no first aid course.
Life is sort of looking up at the moment. Nick has discovered he would like a Skyline to replace his Lancer with once he gets his back, so he’s checking out the car sites in hopes of finding one which suits his needs. And he thinks he’s found the perfect one. I’ve already convinced him to give me the speakers/headunit from the lancer as my car is the exact same make and model with the exception of being automagical and a different colour. I would very much like to have the sound system changed over because I was looking forward to making my car into a right proper ricer, which was the main reason I bought it in the first place. Life changes plans for you though and I don’t see anything major happening to my car until I get a full time job which hopefully will be next year as a librarian once I finish this course and get the accreditation for it.
The one problem I am having at the moment is the module I am doing now involves a lot of writing and I havn’t done this sort of work since I left uni 3 years ago. I want to get the entire module finished this weekend if possible and the last section of the first module completed as well so I can sit down and study my brains out to do my tests. Another issue causing me some grief is that this course is about books and being a librarian. So of course this gets me to thinking about books again and through that to reading or re-reading a fair part of my collection. I need to limit myself and actually set out proper amounts of study or I think I might start to fall behind, which would be a disaster in itself.
I have so many ideas runnng around in my head for different artworks, the majority of these are sewing beads and pieces of material onto cushions or “couch parasites” as Nick calls them. I’ve already told him the collection is for the spare bed but I need to sit down and draw out these images in my head before they float away into the ether. On that note I’m going to head off and do some art or some homework while I feel motivated enough to do it.
