So life has been so busy lately that I havn’t found the time to update much, nor had the energy to. I’ve imaged something like 12 PCs in the past week for work and shall be installing most of them into their new locations next Monday. Homework is appallingly bad right now, as with all the stuff going on from work I come home with little inclination to do anything other than veg. That coupled with the fact that one of the modules appears to be ridiculously hard has waned my enthusiasm for completeling the course to a bare nubbin. Hopefully have some time off this weekend will change that so I can set my course straight again.

Went to Sydney this weekend to catch up with friends, so much fun. Got to meet up with Slaughterhouse, Tabi, Zorge, Milly, DiDi, Gravitise, Darkness and a bunch of other oRO players. Sorry if I forgot your name!

I also got a new headset which I am still have a bit of trouble fixing up so I dont sound like a wind tunnel, a dead cat bag, a dead cat jacket, strawberry pocky, giant chocolate pocky and milk tea. I was very tempted to buy a kimmidoll cause they are so cute but I sufficed by taking photos of all the cool stuff I saw rather than spending money I didn’t have.

Finally got to meet up with Zebagogo that was cool, we did the usual WoW talk but also a lot of other stuff random things that I can’t remember now. All in all a good time even if I am kinda tired.

Been moving around stuff in one of our branch libraries for the past three days. I ache vaguely all over. If I could be bothered later I’ll take a bath and soak all the muscles and hopefully not be sore tomorrow. Shouldn’t need to go back anytime soon though as the workers will be refurbishing it for the next four weeks.

Going to catch up with friends in Sydney this weekend, should be fun.

In the meantime I’m stewing over the sheer rudeness of a few replies to my application to an AoC guild. No, I dont like PvP. Yes, I do help out guildies when they are getting ganked. IF YOU RETURN THE FAVOUR! Emissaries back on ED we used to live by that creed. But when people started to stop helping out why the hell should I be putting in the effort if I get no help myself. Point? Pointless!

At this moment in time I am seriously reconsidering wasting my money on a game if the only sort of respect I am going to get if I am in the same guild as my friends is the insulting kind.

I’m a PvEr. Get the fuck over it.

Frustration

So despite the fact that I have pretty much everything I’ve wanted short term I am thoroughly bored and restless. I think it has a lot to do with some personal issues at the moment and it just irks me so much that this is intefering with my everyday life so much.

I just feel like giving up.

I got the job, I got the car and I sorta have the guy. Life is good though still somewhat confusing at the moment. Once again I am finding it difficult to do my homework, despite have masses of time to do it in. I only work three full days a week with the occasional casual shift if they are low on workers.

I am getting bored of WoW again, it might be time for another hiatus. I am not really wanting to do this right now as it is one of the main ways I interact with a lot of my friends. So I continually distract myself by leveling up tradeskills and mucking around on alts. I recently moved my hunter back to Dalaran to spend some more time with friends I havn’t talked to in a while.

Ah well if everything was easy then life would be no fun. <3

Ah been a bit all over the place recently, currently seeing a guy on the internet. I know how cliche. It’s fun sometimes but sometimes it’s not fun. Well it’s interesting either way.

Potential for new car: High. 2001 Lancer, Mum’s going to buy it and I pay it off. Less money towards trip to America but that’s life right?

Job I applied for I did the interview last week and I have the physical this week, and that means that I’ve pretty much got it. That will make life a lot easier, I’ll be able to save more money and be able to either move out or pay rent to my grandparents who’ve put up with me these past 6 months or so.

I also received my first modules for this years course so I’m going to need to get my head back into the studying mindset and get those done.

Work has put up a new 20 hour per week position which is basically what I do currently. So I’m applying for it and very much hoping to get it because it’s going to relieve a lot of the pressue I’m under monetarily wise. This also means that if I do get it I should be able to go overseas this year instead of scrimping for another year before I can go.

*crosses fingers* Wish me luck. Cause I’m gonna get this job and tear it up.

Crash!

Please note that this occurence happened on Monday 17th Dec 2007

So yesterday the river crossing was shut. Which meant I needed to go around the long way on the river road which is gravel. Now this road has a 100kph limit, which I didn’t know at the time. As I was going around one of the corners I hit a bad patch of gravel slid a bit, overcompensated and spun my car out to crash over a ditch about 2 feet high. Was doing 60kph at the time.

Long story short, called the cops, drove the car home, contacted the insurance company, got the car towed. Car damage calculated as more than cars insurance value, car written off. Kim need new car.

Ideas? Working with an estimate 4k for a new one, maybe a bit more once January is finished, lots of work this month.
